Apple's much awaited next generation iPhone, iPhone 5, may launch in the second half of August, reports CNET.UK. According to CNET, new job postings for a number of iPhone sales staff in the UK suggest a mid-August launch for Apple's next generation iPhone.

A certain computer science professor named Baudisch and his team are currently hard at work creating an invisible smartphone system. New iPhone With 4G (TD-LTE) Support Confirmed For China?

According to China Mobile's president, the next new iPhone to be introduced in China will have support for TD-LTE. Reportedly, China Mobile and Apple have already reached and agreement about this - although the new LTE-capable iPhone will most likely be available to Chinese customers only sometime in 2012.

Why Apple Tracks You Via iPhone

Apple Sold 18.65 Million iPhones and 4.69 Million iPads, According Its Fiscal 2011 Q2 Results

Apple -- which recently sued Samsung for allegedly copying the iPhone and iPad designs -- has just announced its financial results for fiscal 2011 Q2 (ended 26 March). The Cupertino-based company nearly doubled its revenue ($24.67 billion) and net profit ($5.99 billion) compared to fiscal 2010 Q2. iPhone slaes were stronger than ever during the the quarter: no less than 18.65 million units have been sold - 2.45 million more than in fiscal 2011 Q1, and almost 10 million more than in fiscal 2010 Q2. Quite impressive.

Apple Sues Samsung For Copying iPhone and iPad Designs

It seems like everyday we hear about a new lawsuit being filed against one of the big mobile companies, and we got yet another one. All things D has news that Apple has filed suit against Samsung for patent and trademark infringement or more particularly, the Galaxy S smartphones copying the iPhone - both the design and the TouchWiz UI. Samsung is preparing to strike back with lawsuit of their own too.
