Dell Peju Tablet Leaked

Seems Dell is readying another tablet to take on Apple's iPad and other Android OS powered tablets. According to a blog dellpejuinsider.blogspot.com, the hardware maker is set to unveil another Windows 7 based tablet.

The tablet, code named Peju, will run on Windows 7 pro and will be Windows 8 compatible. The leaked images show that the tablet may eventually be named Latitude ST.
According to online media reports, the tablets will have a 10.1 inch 1920 x 1080 Gorilla Glass anti-glare multi touch display, Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64 or 120GB solid state drive, and Windows 7 Pro, with Windows 8 compatibility.
Connectivity options in Peju tablets reportedly include two USB, mini VGA, HDMI, microSD, 3.5mm audio, and 3G SIM card slot.
It will also have integrated Wi-Fi connectivity along with Bluetooth, 3G, and 4G. The tablet is also said to sport a 1.3 megapixel front - and five-megapixel rear-facing camera. There is also on N-trig stylus.
The tablet measuring 10.8 x 6.7 x 0.63 inches is also said to include an N-trig stylus and a USB keyboard mouse. The new tablet is expected to launch sometime in October.

Dell To Launch Streak 10 Pro Tablet

Dell Inc has chosen to launch its new 10-inch Android tablet in China this summer, passing up on a US, Europe launch, as China emerges as a front line battle for tablets. The tablet named "Streak 10 Pro" will target Chinese "prosumers", a term used to describe advanced-level consumers, Amit Midha, Dell's President of Greater China and South Asia, said on a corporate blog.

Amazon may not be selling the TouchPad till 17 July, but that does not mean you would be able to get it before then. HP has released the official launch dates for the first WebOS tablet. The TouchPad will be launched first in the US on 1 July and will be priced at $499.99 and $599.99 for the 16GB and 32GB models respectively.

Asus Eee Pad Slider At Amazon Germany

A new sighting of the highly anticipated Asus Eee Pad Slider has been spotted on the German Amazon web site. Is Asus now preparing to launch its new Eee Pad Slider tablet or is Amazon jumping the gun. Asus originally stated that their new tablet device might be arriving in May 2011 for a price somewhere between $500 - $800.
