Sprint's no-contract brand, Boost Mobile, has added a new Android-powered smartphone to its roster today. The Samsung Transform Ultra apparently "complements the existing Samsung Galaxy Prevail", which has, in just four months since its launch, become the best-selling no-contract smartphone in Samsung's history.

Apple Sues Samsung In Japan, Wants Sales Ban And Money

Apple has filed yet another lawsuit against Samsung Electronics - this time will the Tokyo District Court in Japan. The Cupertino-based company wants the suspension of Galaxy S, S II and Galaxy Tab 7.7 sales in Japan as well as 100M Yen - or approximately $1.3M.

US Cellular has introduced yet another new Samsung handset: the Samsung Character. Like the Samsung Messager Touch (released by the carrier back in May 2010), the Character is a touchscreen (2.8 inch QVGA) feature phone with a sliding QWERTY keyboard.

Samsung Launches N100 Netbook In India

Samsung has expanded its netbook portfolio in the country with the launch of N100. Samsung N100 netbook is based on the dual core Intel Atom N435 processor running at 1.33 GHz. The netbook comes encased in an ultra durable scratch-resistant Duracase casing and features a 10.1" LED display (1024x600 pixel) with a matte surface designed to enhance viewing even in broad daylight. It comes with integrated Intel GMA 3150 graphics.
