An Unannounced, Metal-Clad BlackBerry Bold Gets Clicked

We stumbled into this video of a mysterious BlackBerry device, carrying a radically different look from what we are currently used to seeing from RIM products, and decided to share it with you. The device is rumored to be a member of the Bold Touch family, with 9980 as its moniker.

BlackBerry Bold 9790 Leaks Again Through Tutorial Videos

A couple of months after it was first spotted, the BlackBerry Bold 9790 is again peeking from under RIMs covers. Also known as the Bellagio, the Bold 9790 is similar to the Bold Touch 9900, with a touchscreen display, 8GB internal memory and running the new BlackBerry OS 7. Which begs the questions, why RIM would want to release two similar phones?

BlackBerry maker Research in Motion's iPad rival, PlayBook, is all set to launch in India. According to a news story in Business Today online, RIM PlayBook will be launching in India on 22 June for approximately Rs 32,000 (pricing may vary depending on the version you buy).

BlackBerry 10-inch PlayBook Maybe On The Horizon, Sprint's Playbook Delayed Indefinately

The Internet rumor mill is taking about two BlackBerry PlayBooks - a new 10" model and one that has been delayed. Supposedly, the 10" PlayBook is intended to be sold alonside the 7" model and will not replace it.
As for the delayed one, the chatter is that Sprint's 7" CDMA PlayBook has been delayed again (it was originally scheduled for 19 April), this time indefinitely.

Bing To Power BlackBerry Mobile Phones

Microsoft chief executive Steve Ballmer announced that the US software giant's Bing search engine and maps would be the default service on BlackBerry devices. Ballmer made the announcement during a surprise appearance at the three-day BlackBerry World developers conference being held by BlackBerry maker Research in Motion (RIM) in Orlando, Florida.

BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 and 9930 With BlackBerry 7 OS Announced

What was rumored as BlackBerry OS 6.1 was officially announced as OS 7 because RIM felt the improvement were too big for a mere 0.1 update. Bad news for old devices though; they would not be getting in on the action.
