Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Officially Announced For The US Market
We though the Xperia Arc was already available in the US, but it looks like we were wrong. If you visit Sony's online store, you can see that the smartphone is backordered, so you can not have it right away. Luckily, Sony Ericsson has just issued a press release to take the confusion away. According to the company, the Xperia Arc will be officially available in the US starting August - this is reflected by the Sony Store webpage, too.

Sony Ericsson Loses 50M Euro In Q2, Japan Disaster To Blame
Sony Ericsson has just posted their Q2 results and things are not looking very pretty. The company has been struck pretty hard by the Japan crisis, which has disrupted its supply chains and has led to a loss of 50 million Euro. This put an end to the streak of five consecutive winning quarters that the company recorded.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray Lands At FCC, Gets Shot On Camera
The Sony Ericsson Xperia ray found itself in the hands of the FCC, going through their full set of tests and more importantly for us, a full set of photographs that give us a better look at the phone.
As noted by Engadget, the device will have support for AT&T network thanks to the quad-band HSPA support but the lack of AWS band means it would not work on the T-Mobile network.
If you never heard of the Xperia ray, it is Sony Ericsson's upcoming Android smartphone that was announced last month, having a slim 9.4mm body and just 100g weight. The device packs in a 3.3 inch TFT display with 854 x 480 resolution, 8 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash and 720p video recording, 1Ghz Snapdragon processor and Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The phone is slated to release sometime around August for around US $555.
For now check out the images clicked by FCC.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo To Arrive In Europe In July
We were starting to wonder whatever happened to the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo. The phone was announced back in February at the Mobile World Congress 2011 along with the Xperia Arc and the Xperia PLAY and although the other two started selling months back the Neo somehow seemed to have got lost on its way to the stores.

Sony Ericsson Prepping A Cyber Shot Android Smartphone
The line of camera-centric devices with the Cyber-shot branding has been left aside in favor of Xperia's for some time now and many Sony Ericsson fans may disagree with this policy. Since it recently announced a Walkman Android phone, Sony Ericsson may as well introduce a Cyber-shot Android handset, too, right?
Well, it looks like an Android based Cyber-shot phone already exists - that's if the picture seen below is legit.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play Hits Verizon 26 May
Even though its not setting the world alight in either unit sales or attach rate, Verizon have seen fit to add the only Android phone will console pedigree to their line up. The information comes from a leaked release slate that has proven to be less than reliable, but apparently the Xperia Play has been specifically confirmed by a source, lending some solidity to the rumor.
