Already available the US Cellular and Alltel customers, the Samsung Gem SCH-i100 can be now purchased by Verizon customers too. However, Verizon does not sell the Gem directly - not for now at least. Instead, you can get the new Android phone via BestBuy, which offers it for only $29.99 with a new 2-year contract agreement.
