It looks like the Samsung Galaxy Tab is finally getting the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update, as a number of Galaxy Tab owners have reported the update being pushed out via the Samsung KIES, and it seems to be arriving for users in Italy.

Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab Officially To Get Gingerbread
Samsung has just come up with an official statement on the Galaxy S and the Galaxy Tab Gingerbread updates. Both are getting some later this month and inlike previous rumors, this one's as official as it gets.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9 With Honeycomb To Be Launched In India Next Month
Samsung's newest Android tablets, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Galaxy Tab 10.1, may be launched in India sooner than in other market. In a lengthy interview with Business Standard, Ranjit Yadav, country head at Samsung Mobile and IT India, said the two tablets would be available to Indian customers as soon as next month.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi Only Gets Official In US, Available On 10 April For $349.99
The first awareness of the existence of the Wi-Fi-only Samsung Galaxy Tab at the end of October 2010, but it's taken from then till today for Samsung to officially announce it. The 7-inch Android 2.2 tablet will become available in the US on 10 April (that's this Sunday).

Bell Drops Samsung Galaxy Tab Prices To $399.95 off contract, $199.95 With Three-Year
Prices for the original, 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab just keep on dropping and dropping, at least in North America. It certainly looks like the carriers are doing all they can to clear out the remaining stock of the device. Of course, even if they are doing just that, they would not admit it, so what's actually going on remains to be seen.
