Apple To Sort Out 3G Connectivity Problems On iPad2 Wi-Fi, 3G Tablets

Users of iPad2 with Wi-Fi+ 3G, Verizon network have been facing problems in connecting to 3G network. The users have been posting their complaints on Apple Discussions. An Apple representative stated to All Things Digital that Apple will be investigating on the matter soon, "We are aware that a small number of iPad 2 customers have experienced connectivity issues with the Verizon 3G network and we are investigating".

iPad 2 with 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity as well as 3G. 3G uses cellular signals to connect to internet. iPad 2 is configured to work with either Verizon or AT & T. The ones configured with AT & T have no problems in connectivity.
On Apple Discussions, the users have explained their predicaments. In general, they faced problems in switching to the 3G network from a Wi-Fi mode after switching on the iPad 2. They had to reboot the iPad2 with 3G on. Some tried to connect for hours. The technical staff at the store tried a restore, reboot and switch to different modes. But nothing worked. Some of them who were in the 14 day window swapped to AT&T configuration.
