Samsung Launches Star II S5260 Mobile Phone In India

We had already seen the Star II about three months back so seeing the Star's successor make it out this month is not surprising. The smartphone, also called the S5260, has some decent specifications for the price it's being offered at.

Star II does not run on Android but comes with the company's customized TouchWiz User Interface. The phone also has an Accelerometer and boasts of the following specifications:

• Wi-Fi
• 3-inch Capactitive touchscreen with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixel
• Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP
• 3.15 Megapixel camera
• Memory expandable up to 16GB
• 3.5 mm audio jack
• Stereo FM Radio

The handset also supports Gtalk, Yahoo IM apps and Facebook Chat and can play media formats like MP3, MP4, H.263 and H.264 along with the others. The phone's also got a Document Viewer which can read formats of MS Word, Excel, PDF and PowerPoint.
