Konamo has released a few new screens from the latest entry in its long-running survival horror series Silent Hill. Silent Hill Downpour is being developed by Vatra Games and follows Murphy Pendleton, a convicted criminal who finds himself stranded in the mysterious town. The game takes place in new areas of Silent Hill, which can be seen in these screens.
The shots show off more natural settings than Silent Hill fans may be used to, but with the usual creepy lighting and menacing atmostphere. Anyone else getting an Alan Wake vibe off of this?
Also pictured is the game's protagonist Murphy Pendleton, alongside another who does not look like he is too pleased to be in Silent Hill either.
Vatra Games has said it is not worried about ditching mainstay series characters for Silent Hill: Downpour because the town itself is "the star" of the series.
