Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v Launches At Vodafone Australia On 4 May

Samsung has two upcoming 10.1-inch Android-powered tablets. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is what he slimmer model, the one unveiled in March, ended up being called. In the meantime, the model that was announced at Mobile World Congress in February got renamed and is now called the Galaxy Tab 10.1v. That "V" is there because it seems very likely that you only be able to buy this version from Vodafone.

We have heard that the Galaxy Tab 10.1v was going to become available from Vodafone Australia in April, however it now looks like that's not going to be the case anymore. According to PC & Tech Authority, the tablet will be in stores on 4 May, with an added bonus for buyers: a free case (seen picture above).
Pre-oders will start on 20 April, and those who pre-order the tablet will start receiving it on 1 May, three days before general availability.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v will cost $729 if paid fully upfront. Alternatively, you can get the tablet for just $259, if you get a $39 per month contract for 12 months. That contract will give you 1.5GB of data traffic each month.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v runs Android 3.0 Honeycomb, and it has a dual-core processor, 16GB of internal meomory, and an 8MP autofocus camera.
