Verizon HTC Droid Incredible 2 Is A World Phone

The HTC Droid Incredible 2 for Verizon has leaked many times until now, and it's quite clear that, aside from being the successor to the HTC Droid Incredible on Big Red, it's also going to be a US version of the HTC Incredible S that was announced internationally at Mobile World Congress in February.

Verizon still has not officially unveiled this device, and over the past couple of weeks we have had two different roadmap leaks that pegged the Incredible 2's release either on 21 April or 28 April. So it's close.
Some of the specs of the Droid Incredible 2 have leaked over the weekend, and there is at least one surprise in store. The Droid Incredible 2 will apparently be a "world phone", -- global roaming device -- in short, it will have both CDMA/EV-DO and GSM/HSPA modems inside, letting you roam the world freely.

The Droid Incredible 2 will also have a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera for video calls, and it will come with a 16 GB microSD card preinstalled. DLNA media sharing is on board, as well as a new Sync & Connect feature. This will provide "multiple email and address books in one place". The 3G mobile hotspot functionality will cost you $20 per month for 20 GB - but that's probably a typo and was meant to be 2 GB. We will see, if Verizon ever decides to announce this thing already.
Of course, things may have changed from when the above specs were printed, but this leak does offer us some guidance for the specs of the Droid Incredible 2. Everything not mentioned above should be exactly the same as in the HTC Incredible S.
