T-Mobile Sidekick 4G Pre-Orders Started At Wirefly For $79.99, Shipping 20 April

The T-Mobile Sidekick 4G is the successor to the now-classic Sidekick devices that T-Mobile has launched over the years and although it keeps the form factor almost intact, this is a much more capable device tham those ever were - it's a full-fledged smartphone running Android, and it's the first Sidekick to get a touchscreen.

An interesting device, that's for sure and T-Mobile has even priced it quite competitively at $99.99 with a new two-year contract, making it affordable for the teens/tweens who were the ones to use the previous Sidekicks the most.
Wirefly has decided to shave a further $20 off that price, and it has started taking pre-orders for the Sidekick 4G for only $79.99. The two-year contract still needs to be signed, and the devices will ship on 20 April - exactly a week from today. Shipping is free, as is activation, and you have two colors to choose from: black and pink.
If you are a texting/messaging/emailing fanatic, this is probably a device you will love, so go straight to Wirefly now and pre-order yours.
The T-Mobile Sidekick 4G, made by Samsung, has a 1GHz single-core Hummingbird processor, a 3-megapixel rear camera, a 0.3 MP front-facing camera for video calls, that trademark side-sliding full physical QWERTY keyboard, a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen, and it runs Android 2.2 Froyo.
