Since the HTC Desire Z will receive an update to Android 2.3 Gingerbread this quarter, it's only natural for the owners of its North American version -- the T-Mobile G2 -- to expect an update, too.
Well, according to Computerworld, the G2 will also get Gingerbread sometime this quarter - thus before the end of the June. Reportedly, the info comes from an "HTC spokesperson", so it's pretty much official.
