Sony Ericsson Black XPERIA Arc Gets Pictured, Now Available At Orange In UK

About a month ago, there was a buzz that Orange UK would get an exclusive (at least for the UK) black version of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, alongside other smartphones from the Swedish-Japanese joint-venture. They are now all available, expect the Xperia Neo, which was delayed worldwide. That means that some people have went along and bought the black Xperia Arc from Orange.

Subsequently, one of those people sent some live pictures of the device over to Xperia Blog. So here it is - no renders, no Photoshop, the real black Xperia Arc.
While the front is quite similar to the blue version, the back is, well.... black (obviously) and a flashy, plano black, at that. Not sure yet how that will stack up against fingerprints, since glossy blacks usually do not fare well in that department. Also, the Orange logo seems kind of misplaced where it is, and does spoil a bit of the design fluidity here. But, if you are an Orange customer, you are probably used to that already.
The black Xperia Arc is available from Orange for free on Pay Monthly plans that are at least 40 pounds per month. You can also get it for a variety of upfromt costs, depending on the monthly plan you prefer.
The Arc may be one of Sony Ericsson's flagship devices for 2011, but 40 pounds per month is a bit steep. Still, if you just have to have it, the black variant is now exclusively available at Orange in the UK,
