While being busy building its new Windows Phone portfolio, Nokia has also found the time to file yet another complaint against Apple -- the second one filed with the USITC (United States International Trade Commission), after the one from December 2009 -- which, by the way, was rejected by the ITC.
The new complaint alleges that Apple infringes a series of seven new patents with all of its "mobile phones, portable music players, tablets and computer". The seven patents are related to multitasking, data synchronization, call quality, and the use of Bluetooth accessories.
Paul Melin, Vice President, Intellectual Property at Nokia, declared, "Our latest ITC filling means we now have 46 Nokia patents in suit against Apple, many filed more than 10 years before Apple made its first iPhone. Nokia is a leading innovator in technologies needed to build great mobile products and Apple must stop building its products using Nokia's proprietary innovation".
