Firefox Fork To Create Online Anonymity Tor Browser
Tor is a tool used for anonymising web browsing and communications through encryption and proxy servers. Tor's plugin, Torbutton for Firefox is well known and has provided and easy way to securely enable or disable the browser's use for Tor browsing to prevent IP address leakage, cookie leakage, and general privacy attacks and provide the user with online anonymity when required.

Mozilla Says Polite No To US Government
Mozilla, the non-profit developer of the Firefox Web browser, is holding off on complying with a government request to remove a software tool meant to circumvent federal efforts at curbing Internet piracy.
Immigration and Custom Enforcement, part of the Department of Homeland Security, has been seizing the Internet addresses of sites accused of piracy, so that visitors can not reach them by typing in those domain names. The sites, however, still exist under other addresses.
