T-Mobile G2X Now Only $79.99 At Amazon

We are used to seeing third party retailers sell handsets for prices which are way below what your carrier of choice charges for the exact same hardware and this is no different. Amazon will now sell you a T-Mobile G2X (the magenta version of the internationally launched LG Optimus 2X) for just $79.99.

Before you ask, yes, that naturally includes the requirement that you sign a new two year contract. This is the US we are talking about after all - that's just how things are. But keep in mind that getting this phone direct from TMo will cost you $199.99 - so this is a pretty sweet discount.
You are basically getting a superphone, one of the most high end devices on the market today, for the price of a measly featurephone. So if you have been after the G2X but have not bought it yet, or if you just want a high end Android smartphone, and do not mind having T-Mobile as your carrier, you should probably head on over to Amazon right now and hit that order button. After all, there is no telling how long this offer will last.
The T-Mobile G2X has a 1GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, a 4 inch capacitive touchscreen, an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and full HD 1080p video recording, a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, 8 GB of internal storage further expandable via a microSD card slot, 512MB of RAM, 21Mbps HSPA '4G', Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI out, GPS and a 1500 mAh battery.
