HTC Holiday and Lead To Be The First LTE AT&T Phones?

AT&T is going LTE soon, everybody knows it. There are still no AT&T LTE-capable announced devices, but thanks to a few leaked ROMs we already know two - the HTC Holiday and the HTC Lead.

Both smartphones are high-end droids based on the Snapdragon MSM8660 chipset - a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Adreno 220 graphics, LTE and HSPA+ support (21Mbps HSDPA and a 5.76 Mbps HSUPA).
HTC Holiday should pack a 4.5 inch qHD display, 1GB RAM, 8 megapixel camera with 1080p camcorder, 1.3 megapixel video-call camera, and Bluetooth 4.0 shining among the usual connectivity goodies.
The HTC Lead features a bit smaller 4.3-inch WVGA screen, 768MB RAM, 5 megapixel snapper (unclear video-recording) and Bluetooth 3.0 in addtion to all the typical connectivity option.
We guess the official announcement should happen soon. In case you have been thinking of switching on another LTE carrier (Verizon), perhaps this AT&T news will get you excited. In the meantime, all we can do on this side of the Atlantic is sit and watch the LTE game Stateside.
