Dual SIM Nokia X1-01 Announced, Nokia C2-00 Starts Shipping

Nokia has officially announced a new, cheap dual SIM phone - the Nokia X1-01. The X1-01 looks exactly like the X1-00 (introduced back in March), and, expect for the dual SIM-related capabilities, it has the same features.

The phone comes with a 160 x 128 pixels display, MP3 player, stereo FM radio, 3.5mm headset jack, built-in flashlight, MicroSD card support (2GB card included), and a "massive speaker on the back". The battery found inside the X1-01 can provide a talk-time of up to 13 hours, or an impressive stand-by time of up to 43 days.

The new handset lets you "give each SIM card a name, a dedicated logo and an MP3 dedicated ring tone", and "use the dedicated SIM manager key to manage your SIM settings".
The X1-01 will be launched later this quarter in India, China, Eurasia, South-East Asia/Pacific region, the Middle East, Africa and Brazil. It will cost only 34 euro.

Nokia has also announced that the C2-00 (another dual SIM phone, announced way back in June 2010) starts shipping this quarter in the same markets where the X1-01 will be available.
The C2-00 is a bit more expensive (45 euro), coming with S40 UI, web browser, Nokia Messaging, and VGA photo camera.
