Although it already offers the LG Optimus One, Telus has decided to release another version of it, dubbed LG Optimus 3G.
Unlike the Optimus One, which is a GSM / HSDPA phone, the Optimus 3G is a CDMA device (its actually a renamed Optimus S - launched by Sprint in the US last year).
With a new 3-year agreement, Telus Optimus 3G can be yours for free (just like the Optimus One). The off-contract price of the new handset is, curiously, $529.99. That's outrageously unjustified, since the Optimus One costs $199.99 off-contract, and has the same features, including Android 2.2, 3.2 inch HVGA display, Wi-Fi, GPS, and 3.2 megapixel camera.
