Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi Now Available At Telus In Canada

Just as expected, the Motorola Xoom has become available from Telus in Canada. This is the Wi-Fi-only version, since it seems that only Verizon is so far able to sell a 3G-enabled version of Moto's tablet in North America. Telus is not the only place you can get your Wi-Fi-only Xoom in Canada either, since the tablet has been availabe from Best Buy and Future Shop for a while now. However, if somehow buying it from Telus seems like a better idea to you, well, you can do just that now.

Obviously, there will be no contract signing involved with your purchase, since this is not a subsidized device and the price is exactly the same as it is everywhere in Canada right now: $599.99.
That gets you the first ever tablet to run Android 3.0 Honeycomb, the tablet-optimized version of Google's mobile operating system, a tablet which has a 10.1-inch capactive touchscreen, 32 GB of internal storage, a 1 GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, a 2MP front-facing camera, Adobe Flash 10 support, and Bluetooth (alongside the Wi-Fi).
