Remember the LG Optimus Big, which appeared back in March next to an iPhone? The smartphone is now official, as LG has announced it in its home country, South Korea, under the name of LG LU6800.
Running Android 2.2 (most likely upgradeable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread), the LG LU6800 features -- among others -- a dual-core 1GHz processor, a 4.3-inch WVGA display, and a 5MP autofocus camera.
The LU6800 will be available via LG U+ (South Korea's third largest mobile carrier) starting 28 April.
LG said nothing about a possible release of the Optimus Big outside Korea.
