LG Optimus 3D Available In The UK On 6 June

The LG Optimus 3D, the world's first smartphone to have a glasses-free 3D display, was officially unveiled in February. Since then, it looked like it would become available in the UK later this month; at least according to one online retailer (Play).

However, today another well known UK online phone retailer, namely Clove, has published information on when it will start shipping Optimus 3D devices to eager customers and while we have heard at some point that the smartphone could be delayed until late May; this information is actually even worse. Clove will get its first stock of LG Optimus 3D handsets on 6 June.
That's a lot of time since the phone was first introduced, Granted, there is not much competition in the 3D smartphone space as of yet, but 3D aside, there have been many (more) high-end Androids announced in the meantime. All at least as capable as LG's effort.
Anyway, if you must wait for the Optimus 3D, and if you have plenty of patience in stock, then perhaps you should pre-order the device right now. Clove will ship it to you on 6 June, and the asking price is 456.80 pounds, VAT included.
The LG Optimus 3D has a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen, a 1GHz dual-core TI processor, dual 5MP cameras with 3D capture and video recording, as well as 2D 720p HD video recording, 8GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, DLNA, HDMI out and a 3.5mm headset jack. The LG Optimus 3D runs Android 2.2 Froyo.
