Although the Incredible S can already be bought in Australia (via MobiCity), HTC has not officially launched the handset there.
It will do it this Thursday (14 April), though - at least according to AusDroid. Mobicity is currently selling the Incredible S for 629 AUD (about 660 USD), SIM-free. When officially released, the smartphone should be offered subsidized by at least one of Australia's major carriers (Telstra, Vodafone, Optus).
Unlike the Gingerbread-ready HTC Desire S (also available SIM-free), the HTC Incredible S runs Android 2.2 Froyo. The smartphone will be upgraded to Android 2.3 at some point though.
