Back in December 2010, LG announced that AT&T would also release a version of the quite Optimus One smartphone. Since then, we have not heard anything from AT&T regarding the handset.
However, it looks like the carrier may want to launch it soon. An image of an AT&T-branded Optimus One has appeared over at Pocket Now, allowing us to see that the device is not really different from the standard version.
The Optimus One for AT&T could be named LG Optimus A. Regardless of the name, it will feature a 3.2-inch HVGA multi-touch display, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, 3.2MP camera, MicroSD card support, and a 600 MHz processor.
The Optimus One and all its other versions current run Android 2.2 Froyo, but and upgrade to Android 2.3 Gingerbread will be available later this year.
